  • So what is November? You ever feel like November is just the month before Christmas, and the month after Halloween? Or does it has its own identity as Veteran's Day and US Thanksgiving, which officially launches the Christmas shopping season? Which got me thinking about the significance of a month, or a day or a moment, and how precious each one is. We can do a lot with each moment, so take the time this month to make a difference somewhere.

If you're not already a member, it is a great time to join the CFP and be eligible for our next anthology. Our first anthology, The Future Looks Bright, had our highest grossing sales in InnerSurf history, was ordered in large quantities into the library system, and is completely SOLD OUT!

Check out the benefits and join. A free subscription to Poetry Canada magazine and over 20 other benefits, to help you really get your money's worth.

    Poetic Beauty

POETIC BEAUTY is a story Joanne wrote in the hopes of giving teens the courage to stand up and say no to abuse when dating. This story is about a teen who finds herself in a bad situation, and is courageous enough to look honestly at her feelings. As she realizes the danger that would confront her if she chose to continue in this volatile relationship, she knew there were choices to be made, and she alone must find the courage to make them.

    Through The Ages

Through The Ages is a compilation of Inspirational Poetry, where Michaela taps into her spirituality, to reflect on inspiration drawn from the ancient Qabbala, scripture, nature, and creation - to express a thirst and desire for knowledge, transcendence, and a longing for unity and completion.
She conveys desires, hopes, and pain as legitimate means for forgiveness and deliverance. She expresses a longing for a redeemer, and a perfect hero and alludes to biblical figures as such personas and archetypes in our lives.

"Top 10 things to do with your poetry"
"Poetry Survey Results - What you need to know!"
